A special thanks to Joan Embery for her constant
support of JMF and for showcasing her exotic animal collection
at our Sunset Safari year after year. For the majority of her
life she has worked with animals, championing the need for preservation
and the protection of their rapidly diminishing habitats. Few
people in the world are as dedicated to the preservation of
wildlife and the environment as Joan. |

Homefront San Diego is a non-profit organization partnered
with the San Diego Navy League. Its main goal is to offer a
hand up to military families in their time of need. They have
been able to help more then 8500 families with such things like
car repairs, computers, food assistance and much more. JMF is
grateful for their help in connecting us to San Diego County’s
military families. |

The mission of the Al Bahr Shrine is to combine friendship,
family and fraternity with social activities and to provide
support, both monetarily and by volunteer service to the 22
Shriners Hospitals for Children. JMF is grateful for our partnership
with the Shriners in providing Tin Lizzy’s (mini-cars pulling
mini-wagons, driven by Shriners) at our events for military
families. |
